Kiwibank today announced that after five years with the bank, Hamish Rumbold will step down as Chief Digital and Technology Officer to focus on a career in governance. His last day will be 28 June. Kiwibank Chief Executive Steve Jurkovich said Mr Rumbold had played a pivotal role in progressing the bank's technology transformation and lifting its digital capability for its customers and team, and wished him well for the next stage of his career. The bank also announced that after a thorough internal and external international search process, Chief Legal Officer and Acting Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Mike Hendriksen had been permanently appointed to the role of CRO, effective immediately. The appointment is subject to normal RBNZ approvals. An executive recruitment process will now commence for a new Chief Digital and Technology Officer and Chief Legal Officer.
