Te Anau accident investigation

WasteCo advises that it has been charged by WorkSafe in relation to the Te Anau fatality that occurred in May 2025. The charge has been filed under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and will now proceed through the Court process. WasteCo will not be commenting on the detail of the charge while the matter is before the Court. The company continues to support those affected by the incident and remains focused on its ongoing health and safety reset across the business. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.
